Fashion Designer & Stylist
Sept. 2010 - present
Graduating with a BFA in Fashion Design from CCAD and having 12 years in the fashion industry has given me the confidence and experience I need to do what I love. Everything from creating mood boards, sketching designs, drafting patterns, fittings, sourcing fabric, garment construction, creative direction, styling and much more. Not only do I have experience in the design world, I am proud to say I've spent plenty of time working in the retail end of the business as well. Visual merchandising, plan-o-grams and styling product displays were among some of my favorite aspects of fashion retail. My creativity and extensive background in fashion make me unique!
Graphic Development R&D Expert
September 2014 - October 1019
Expert in many levels of research and development of print and embroidery graphics for a leading fashion retailer. Gained hands on experience with a variety of mediums such as - screen printing, production prep, embroidery and embellishment techniques, fabric and textiles. Worked cross-functionally and collaboratively with all brands of the company. Researched, developed, designed and presented
new trends and techniques, many of which were adopted and sold in stores and online.
Graphic Designer
September 2014 - present
After taking graphic design courses in college, I grew to really enjoy that aspect of the design world. I took my skills to A&F, where I designed, applied and presented graphics used for R&D projects specifically for graphic tees and various other garments. I also had the pleasure of designing many of the graphics for SeriousFun Children's Network camp t-shirts. More recently, as a freelance artist, I've gained experience designing company logos / branding and currently have an Etsy shop where I showcase some of my designs and fiber art!
